Africa Center-Beulah Mission Report
Isaiah 62:4. You shall no longer be termed forsaken nor your land be termed desolate but you shall be called Hephzibah and your land Beulah.
We celebrate the faithfulness of God for a successful academic 2021/2022 school year that ended in July. This wouldn’t have been possible without your continuous, prayers, encouragement, and partnership for which we are very grateful and would like to extend to you our heartfelt thanks and appreciation. The school has operated for five consecutive years, and we are seeing fruits of the impact being made in the lives of our students daily. We are very proud to announced that students who have left the walls of Beulah and are enrolled in other schools are scoring higher marks and are being examples of good morals! Indeed, your support is helping us convert hearts, transformed minds and trained hands for service.
These students performed exceptionally well by scoring higher marks amongst their peers.
The 2021/2022 closing program was a joyous moment, marked by praises to God, pleasant speeches and fellowship. See pictures below:
We saw a mass gathering of parents during the closing program. Parents who attended were very elated by their children’s performances and expressed their thanks and appreciation to the administration, staff and partners for their unflinching commitment in sacrificing for the betterment of their children’s future. Had it not been for Beulah Mission School, my children wouldn’t have had the opportunity they now have to been in school at these tender ages, thank God for Beulah, said one of the parents who has three children in the school. Prior to the Beulah Mission’s operation in that community, most of the children were over aged for the classes they were in because of late enrollment in school. The need for early Childhood education is being met through Beulah.
Every child just needs the proper environment and conditions necessary for their growth and development. At Beulah, we strive for academic excellence and therefore, the needs of our students are very cardinal. Student Abraham S. Johnson is just an example of the many students who are performing exceptionally well because of your partnership with us. He is four years of age and scored the highest mark for the 2021/2022 academic school year!
TREE FOR CHANGE:
Tree for change is a self-sustainable agriculture program we have initiated with the aim of cultivating 25 acres of farmland for cocoa production. This is a long-term program which is aimed at creating income to sustain the mission. A donation of $ 5 per tree will not just change a life but will conserved the environment and contribute to climate change.
NEEDS
SPONSORS: We need sponsors for our students. Most parents in rural communities are below the poverty lines and cannot afford to educate their children. We initiated this program but discontinued due to the COVID 19 situation. Assistance that comes in through our sponsorship program shall be utilized specifically to cover the child’s tuition, Uniform, Books, Backpack, Rain gear, note books, feeding and health. $485 per child.
TRANSPORTATION: The road leading to Beulah is deplorable and has not been maintained for over a very long period which makes mobility a huge challenge. We need a truck which might cost $10k-15k and a motorbike which is sold for $900.
MATERIAL SUPPLIES: books, computer, stationery, printers, sewing machines, toiletries, sanitary pads and electricity (solar Panels) ect.
PRAYERS POINTS:
● Pray for our students and teachers, that their hearts remain open to the Holy Spirit as the seed of the Gospel is planted, it will be joyfully received and that they will grow in the grace, revelation and knowledge of our Lord.
● Pray for God’s protection over our students who walk on foot for miles using bush paths each day. That God keeps them in safety from harm and danger.
● Pray for God’s Provisions for the school; transportation, Supplies and basic materials.
● Pray for our Tree for Change Project
Thank you all for your continued support,
Pastor David and Wilma Snydler
