Beulah Mission Report
“But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” I John 3:17
Dear Friends,
God has blessed us with many things in this life for us to be grateful for and you are one of those blessings!
Over the years we have been on a divine assignment to minister the Gospel in the rural community of Senjeh District, Bomi County through Christ centered education.
We are seeing changes in the lives of our students as the eternal seed of the Gospel is being planted in their hearts each day! During one of our regular devotion and chapel services with the students, Wilma and I were so amazed to see toddlers quoting scripture verses they have memorized in alphabetical order and was so overwhelmed with joy and felt humbled and encouraged to served even more! The impact Beulah is having on the students extends to eternity for which we are first and foremost thankful to God and to you for partnering with us! Indeed, we are; “Changing Hearts, Transforming Mind and Training Hands for Service”.
The first marking academic period of 2022/23 started very well, parents were invited to participate in a meeting and to received their child/children grade sheet(s). Special recognition was given to students who performed exceptionally well so as to encouraged academic excellence.
At Beulah, we make it a part of out commitment to partner with the parents of our students through our Parents Teachers Association (PTA) Meetings in order to generate interest in their children’s education, identified and solved problems together. During said meetings, Academic report of a child is given directly to the parent. The above picture depicts some of the parents, mostly women who attended our PTA meeting. The need for early Childhood education is being met through Beulah.
TREE FOR CHANGE:
Tree for change is a self-sustainable agriculture program we have initiated with the aim of cultivating 25 acres of farm land for cocoa production. This is a long-term program which is aimed at creating income to sustained the mission. A donation of $ 5 per tree will not just change a life but will conserved the environment and contribute to climate change.
Needs: We need sponsors for our students. Most parents in rural communities are below the poverty lines and cannot afford to educate their children. We initiated this program but discontinued due to the COVID 19 situation. Assistance that comes in through our sponsorship program shall be utilized specifically to cover the child’s tuition, Uniform, Books, Backpack, Rain gear, note books, feeding and health. 485 per child.
TRANSPORTATION: The road leading to Beulah is deplorable and has not been maintained for over a very long period which makes mobility a huge challenge. We need a truck which might cost $10k-15k.
MATERIAL SUPPLIES: books, computer, stationery, printers, sewing machines, toiletries, sanitary pads and electricity (solar Panels) ect.
PRAYERS POINTS:
