Romania Report July 2022

Dear BBI Supporters:

Greetings from Galati, Romania !

We are passing now through a very, very dry summer. Maybe in your country it is same, knowing that in many places from the earth it is too hot ! In Romania is a biiiiig drought and we hope and pray that soon will rain.

In Betesda the activity is going on.

The children are in holiday from school. They enjoy very much this. It was a difficult year, after 2 years of pandemic. But we praise God that finally, after an hard work, they finished the year with good marks.

Our desire and plan is to change Geanina, Georgiana and Abela to a better school … and we need your prayers in this … because they need to give in August some exams for this.

On 10 July we had Anca’s and Alin’s wedding. It was a special time together – as Betesda family, but also the church family. We enjoyed very much this time. After that, they went in Bulgaria for one week. Please, pray for them … to have a good start together, under God’s blessing !

From 12-16 July we had our camp for children. It was a very good camp. We had 40 children – coming from church, from Betesda (girls home and day center), from no Christian families, from Galati, but also from another towns. For the first time, we organized this week for children and teens, together. In the mornings, we used to have our study time separated. But the games and other activities … they were together. They liked it very much. The children and teens were very opened to receive in their hearts God’s message for them. Now … we have to continue to pray for them …. that this Seed to produce fruit for eternity.

The last children from the lists (they asked us to take them in this camp 2 days before we left) were 2 orphans (their father died years ago, and the mother died 45 days before). They were sooo special for each of us. The older one shared with us that in the last night, he was praying alone, and he felt that an arm was around him …. He opened the eyes … Nobody was there … but he realized that GOD was there. He needed soooo much …. Continue to pray for both of them: Narcis and Samuel.

Coming back, very, very tired …. a new challenge was waiting for us: the REFUGEES.

They continue to come from Ukraine.

So, yesterday we decided to take 4 more families. Now, we have in our permanent care in total 17 people (coming from 7 families): 4 men, 6 women and 7 children. We want to continue to care them, to help them … to be a good and blessed place for them. They really enjoy staying with us and they are very thankful.

Please, continue to pray for them. We invited them at church and … hope they will come. Pray to have a good heart to receive well what God wants to tell THEM.

Also, please, please, continue to pray for the first family who came to us: Elena, Serghei and Natasa (with their children Danik and Oliviia). They came every Sunday at church. They have biiiig interest to hear the Word of God. They started to read the Bible, to pray (they never did this before). Our desire for them is to be saved by God …. During this time they stay here.

Baby Olivia, grandma Elena, Anca +Alin, Natsha, Danik and Serghei (severe diabetes)

Also, please, pray for Serghei (he is that one with serious problems with diabetes). Last week he was very, very close to die. His blood sugar was 25 …. very, very low). We called the ambulance … and he stayed in hospital few hours until he was a little bit balanced. But now … he is scared, his mother (Elena), too.

Also, the man who came new (yesterday) in our family, has Parkinson ... at a fairly advanced stage. We would like to help him, too. We don't know how .... but we pray that God will open doors and will give us wisdom and resources to do it.

Now we stop here ….

Next time more things about us.

Thanks a loooot for all your support, prayers, encouragements for us … It mean a lot for us !

Love you,

Estera
