India Report January 2023

Stella has moved the center a bit further out of Delhi into a new slum location. She has found a place for tutoring classes among the many Pakistani refugees. She received donations of clothes and rice from local churches and spent New Years Day distributing the food and clothes to the families near her new tutoring place.

Sheethal, one of the faithful students who studied and stayed in school under Stella’s tutoring and guidance, has graduated from high school. She has finished what we would call 11th and 12th grade in America and they call a pre-degree in India. She is an excellent tutor for all the subjects with the younger children. She is also a skilled seamstress and can teach sewing skills. She has a desire to become a teacher and we will support her with further schooling. She is coming regularly to the new location to assist Stella.

Thank you for being a partner and doing good with us in India. With your continued support more young girls like Sheethal will have hope for a joyful future with education and skills to give back to their families and communities.

Blessings,

Ellen
